A driver lost control of their vehicle on Hines Drive near Middlebelt in Westland. The vehicle crashed into a guard rail yesterday during the snowstorm and the driver was pronounced dead at St Mary’s Hospital in Livonia.
The severity of the crash is unclear at this time. WXYZ reported the incident early this morning stating that the crash occurred yesterday evening and that a woman had died with an unknown cause of the crash. WXYZ also reported that Michigan State Police were handling the investigation. This afternoon, Hometown Life coverage shared what they heard from Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies, stating that the driver of that car was a male and lost control due to weather conditions.
