Monday November 9th, 2020: Police have arrested two suspects in Westland who were wanted in connection with a homicide that took place in the City of Detroit. We have confirmed that Detroit PD along with Westland PD served a felony murder warrant on Alberta Ct this morning in Westland and police say they were able to make the arrests without incident.
A 22 year old man and a 32 year old woman were arrested in connection to this breaking story from last night.
16-year-old girl shot and killed in Detroit following argument at home
Matt Durr, MLive.com –DETROIT — Police are searching for a trio of suspects after a 16-year-old girl was shot and killed Sunday night. According to Detroit Police, the victim was involved in an argument with the shooter at a home in the 9100 block of Beaconsfield around 8:25 p.m.
The shooter and two other suspects left the home following the argument but before they left the scene, the shooter allegedly fired a single shot into the victim’s home. The shot hit the girl who was treated by medics and transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
Police say they’re still searching for a 23-year-old woman who’s considered a person of interest. They believe she might have information about the shooting.
