The John Glenn Rockets Varsity basketball team (Westland), lost 63-52 in Tuesday’s league battle with the visiting Franklin Patriots (Livonia). The Rockets are (0-2) for the season and are currently preparing for their battle against the Churchill Chargers (Livonia). The game will be held at 7pm on January 7th at Churchill High School. The Chargers are coming to the match with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Churchill suffered a major loss to Fordson (Dearborn), 90-48, in a league match.

Last season (2021), Rockets Varsity beat the Chargers during both games 1 and 2 of the series. Game 1: Rockets win (68-56) at a home game. Game 2: Rockets win (51-43), also a home game. The final score at Fridays upcoming game between the Rockets and Chargers should give an idea about the teams performance during the rest of the season. If the Rockets lose Friday, they will be (0-3) for the season.
