On Tuesday, January 4th, State Representative Kevin Coleman presented City of Wayne Officials with a check in the amount of $500,000 dollars for Goudy Park Amphitheater improvements. “The amphitheater in Goudy park is a jewel for the community. It’s a great spot to hangout, especially in the spring and summer.” State Rep Coleman presented the check to Wayne Mayor Rhaesa and City Council members at the January 4th Council meeting.
Coleman added that Senator Dayna Polehanki was instrumental in leading the efforts to secure the funds which were adopted as part of the States annual budget.

Goudy Park is located at 3498 Second St in Downtown Wayne. The Amphitheater is home to concerts and special events all year long. The theater was established in 1992 and has an open air structure with a semicircular seating arrangement. It also has the capacity to seat 2000 people.
