Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop at which time Briggs failed to stop and fled west on Plymouth Road. Briggs abandoned the stolen car and fled on foot. He was pursued by officers who quickly took him into custody without incident.

Briggs was arraigned in the 16th District Court of Livonia for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle, Fleeing and Eluding and Obstructing Police. Bond was set at $30,000, 10%. A Probable Cause Conference was held this morning.
